Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Titian Kasih website and the services we provide. Please read them before using this site or instructing us. Questions can be directed to [email protected].

- "You", "User" refers to any person who visits this website or contacts us through it.

2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into an agreement and accept these terms.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website or submit an enquiry.
3. Nature of information on this website
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute legal advice and does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Every legal situation is different and you should not rely on general information as a substitute for advice specific to your circumstances.
A solicitor-client relationship is established only when we have sent you a formal letter of engagement and you have accepted the terms of that engagement.
4. Our services
Titian Kasih provides family legal services within Malaysia, including divorce and financial arrangement proceedings, child arrangement and maintenance matters, and confidential first consultations. Services are available to clients located in Malaysia and, by arrangement, to clients located overseas who have matters before Malaysian courts.
We are entitled to decline to act in any matter, including matters that fall outside our areas of practice or where a conflict of interest exists.
5. Enquiries and confidentiality
Information provided in an enquiry through this website is treated as confidential from the moment it is received. It is not disclosed to any third party without your consent. Submitting an enquiry does not create a solicitor-client relationship.
If you describe your situation in an enquiry and a conflict of interest later emerges, we may be unable to act for you. In that event, we will inform you promptly.
6. Fees and payment
Our fees are set out on this website and in our engagement letters. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). A written estimate will be provided before any chargeable work begins.
The confidential first consultation fee of RM 165 is payable at the time of booking. Other fees are agreed in writing before work commences.
Court filing fees and other disbursements are charged separately and will be set out in your cost estimate. We may ask for a payment on account before filing any court documents.
We do not offer refunds for consultations that have taken place. If a consultation is cancelled with more than 24 hours notice, the fee will be held as a credit toward a future appointment.
7. Your responsibilities
When using this website or instructing us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when asked.
- Inform us promptly of any changes to information you have provided.
- Not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes the rights of others.

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Titian Kasih is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from use of this website or reliance on information it contains.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Our liability in relation to legal services provided is subject to the terms of the engagement letter for each matter.
10. Third-party links
This website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. A link does not imply endorsement.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a solicitor-client relationship in accordance with the terms set out in the engagement letter for that matter.
We may suspend access to this website or cease responding to enquiries at any time without notice.
12. Governing law and disputes
